The company was formed in order to bring together a number of investments in companies which the management team feel have some opportunity for the future and to support managements who exhibit skills and only lack the funding and commercial experience to take forward their projects.
There are no laid down rules with regard to the types of businesses in which we invest. However, we have refrained from becoming heavily involved in seed companies which have no prospect of business turnover for the immediate future and need further development in the medium term, before a viable business could be achieved. We also avoid cash businesses which are difficult to control in many respects.
The company directors believe that all target companies should be able to run on a self sufficient basis after a limited period of time, but they are on hand at all times to support wherever necessary as business is highly unpredictable and often quite volatile.
All of the directors of the company have an accountancy background with non-executive directors exhibiting other business expertise. There is a strong team ethic with the ability to produce financial information quickly and react to it appropriately.
